Humberto Ortiz Zuazaga

I'm the director and Programmer-Archaeologist of the UPR High Performance Computing facility, the Computational Nanoscience Resource center for the Institute for Functional Nanomaterials (IFN), and the Bioinformatics Resource Center for Puerto Rico's INBRE project. I recently finished my PhD at the UPR-RUM CISE program. My dissertation was on the analysis of gene expression using microarrays with Oscar Moreno and Sandra Peña de Ortiz (UPR-RRP). My CV is online. This set of static pages holds links to most of the stuff I do.

I taught MATE 6685 - Bioinformatics spring semester 2009.

I also have a plone site that holds stuff that's directly editable over the web. For example, Spring 2004 I taught a couple of classes, CCOM 4086 - Computer Architecture (2004) and MATE 6685 - Bioinformatics (2004) that have content on the plone site. I also have some lectures for Dr. Moreno's 2006 Bioinformatics class.
