TkMap - a program for drawing genetic maps

Cool, it works with linux.

TkMap is a bioTk program for drawing publication quality genetic maps of a set of genetic markers. TkMap is copyrighted material, but may be freely distributed under the terms of the GNU General Public Licence.

TkMap's home page is <URL:http://momo.uthscsa.edu/~humberto/cmb/tkmap/> . For more information, please consult:

Download
The gzipped tar file with the full tkmap distribution (12 Kb).
To run tkmap you will need these supplemental programs installed on your computer:
  1. tcl version 7.4 and Tk version 4.0 available from http://www.sunlabs.com/research/tcl/
  2. bioTk version 1.3 available from http://www.cbil.upenn.edu/~dsearls/bioTk.html
I also required this patch to bioTk v1.3 map.tcl file in order to be able to correctly draw labels to the left of the map axis. I've sent the patch to the author.
